The press, television, and radio are vital forces in Pakistan's political life. The importance of the press was evident even before independence.Radio also has been an effective method of communication because the literacy rate is low and other methods of communication are sometimes not available. Freedom of speech has not been given to the media owing to the political instability in Pakistan.
ReplyDeletethe information on this blog is insufficient currently.
ReplyDeletedefinitely media and radio are playing a vital role in making the audience aware of the events, as they occur, within no time
ReplyDeleteI agree with nida. Now a days, freedom of speech is being exploited to quite an extent in Pakistan by our so called "DEMOCRATIC" leaders. Recently, Geo's broadcast was again banned by the current president Asif Zardari for being pro-PML N where as previously it was banned by Pervez Musharaf for being in the favor of the lawyer's movement. If the simple and the most basic concept of democracy can't be followed in our country then how can our leaders falsly claim the government to be DEMOCRATIC.
ReplyDelete23 corporations control over 60% of the WORLDS media ... what does democracy have to say about that??
ReplyDeletethere is only one way flow of media, that is, west to east......
ReplyDeletewe can debate about it all we want, but something has to be done!!
